Nico Rosberg, former Formula 1 champion, has decided to show us how he has fun pushing his brand new Rimac Refrigerator to the limit.
As you well know, Nico Rosberg, former Formula 1 world champion, has been retired from competition for a few years now. That doesn’t stop you from giving driving master classes with the most outstanding sports cars on the planet.
The German driver has a YouTube channel where he shows, to the envy of many, his experiences aboard authentic automotive works of art. In the last video that he has published, we can see it at the controls of a Rimac Refrigeratorthe 1,940 hp electric hypercar, which was purchased this summer.

Rosberg asks an artificial intelligence chatbot to come up with five ideas for a hypercar video, one of which is a drive on mountain roads. The thing went very well, because in the words of the pilot himself it has been a “phenomenal experience” and has described the Refrigerator as “literally a racing car”.
Former German Mercedes driver was really impressed by the performance offered by his new hypercar, convincing a true “petrolhead” of the benefits of a 100×100 electric car.
Rosberg has valued very positively the level of grip to the tarmac provided by the tires, which allow the driver to enter, trace and exit corners at breakneck speeds unachievable by many other hypercars.
However, managing all that power was not easy for Rosberg either who, after activating the “Drift” driving mode, when trying to drift in a tight corner, misjudged the time and traction gap when accelerating and ended up spinning. Fortunately, the car was not damaged.
Recall that the Nevera is equipped with a 120 kWh battery pack that has the task of powering the powertrain made up of four electric motors, for a total power of 1,940 hp and a maximum torque of 2,360 Nm.
Rimac Refrigerator, the fastest car in the world
Amazing figures that allow the vehicle to reach 100 km/h from a standstill in just 1.85 seconds, cover the quarter mile in 8.5 seconds and reach a top speed about 412 km/h. And it is that we are facing the fastest production electric car in the world, a record that Rosberg wanted to recognize by getting behind the wheel and taking it to the limit.
