The Aurora Collection is considered one of the best collections of Ferrari cars and is now going up for auction.
RM Sotheby’s has announced the addition of the Aurora Collection to its auction in Villa Erba, in Italy. The selection of 14 cars, mostly Ferrari models, will be auctioned without reservation to coincide with the Villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza, which is held nearby.
Is about one of the best Ferrari collections in all history and their value as a whole far exceeds twenty million euros.

One of the most important models of this attractive collection is a Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta from 1961which, as a curiosity, appears in “The Love Bug”, Herbie’s first film, and which could sell for close to 8 million euros.
The second big star is a 1956 Ferrari 500TR Spyder, chassis 0610 MDTR, and which is the oldest in the collection. It was used in competition for much of the 1956 season in various Italian races, most notably second place at the Circuito di Caserta in Naples.
Other featured models are a 275GTB/4 from 1967a 1973 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider, a 1965 ex-Chinetti Motors 275 GTS and a 1961 250 GT Cabriolet Series II.

If you like the most modern Ferraris, the Aurora Collection is also well stocked. Among them, we find a 2019 Ferrari Monza SP1, a 2002 Ferrari 360 Spider, a 1997 Ferrari 550 Maranello, a 1986 Ferrari Testarossaa 2001 Ferrari 550 Barchetta and a 2011 Ferrari SA Aperta.
In addition to models from the Italian brand, the Aurora Collection has two representatives of Mercedes-Benz of the first order: a 300SC Roadster and a 300SL Gullwing.
10 mythical cars of the 2000s: an optimistic decade
One of the great attractions of this collection is that its vehicles they have low mileage and, according to the auction company, they have been mostly stored in a garage and not too exposed to the public, which makes their value multiply.
