During the XXXV Grand International Elegance Contest, which was held last weekend. The Stuttgart firm was present and revealed several surprises.

During the traditional elegance contest, Porsche unveiled the new 911 Sport Classic, Porsche Classic services, at the same time members of the Porsche Club Mexico were present. There, they exhibited their jewelry to be admired by visitors, and they also received awards in different categories.
All the above in the midst of the celebrations of the 75 years of Porsche and the 60 years of the iconic 911.
Porsche 911 Sports Classic
It is a commemorative example that reflects both the constant dynamic efficiency and the technological and innovative heritage of the firm created by Ferry Porsche 75 years ago.
‟We are very proud of the celebrations for 75 years of Porsche sports cars and 60 of the 911 Carrera”; said Camilo San Martín, director of Porsche de México. ‟We celebrate with enthusiasm and present special models such as the 911 Sport Classic, a vehicle so exclusive that only six units will arrive in our country this year”.
The new 911 Sport Classic is the second of four collector’s items that are part of Porsche’s Heritage Design strategy. It is limited to 1,250 units and follows in the footsteps of the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition, another edition limited to 992 units that was introduced in 2020.

Porsche also introduced its entire clientele to specialized restoration services and parts availability for almost any Porsche built throughout its 75-year existence.
With a higher offer to the 80,000 original auto parts, as well as high-quality work supported by specialized technicians, who know German sports cars in detail. From the original 356 to the entire 911 family, passing through the two-seater mid-engine 914, Boxster, Cayman, the ‘transaxle’ models 924, 928, 944 and 968. Also the 959, such as Carrera GT, as well as the first-rate Cayenne generation.
Porsche Club Mexico Award
Finally, the associates of the Porsche Club México made a selection of the best specimens exhibited in this International Hall of Elegance, a contest held among the members and knowledgeable experts to determine which are the best classic Porsches of this 2023. The winners of each category were:
- 1st place and most representative of the club: Whillelm Smith, 356 Cabrio Blanco, 1964.
- Category A: Francisco Guzmán, 356 Carrera Verde, 1959.
- Category B: Fernanda Mangino, 356 Ruby Red, 1962.
- Category C: Walfer Mejía, 356 Verde, 1962.
- Cabrio category: Rodolfo Sánchez, 356 Silver Speedster, 1958.
- Category 911: SWB, Silver, 1966.
- Category 911 early: Sergio Nieto, Silver, 1969.
- Category G: David Sánchez, Black, 1989.
- Category 939 turbo: Manuel Robles Gil, RUF Yellow, 1992.
- Water Cool Category: Mauricio García, Blanco, 1982.
The recognitions of such awards were delivered during the award ceremony of the XXXV Great International Contest of Elegance.
