75 years ago, Ferry Porsche made his dream of building his own sports car come true. With the Porsche 356 “No. 1” Roadster, he and his team laid the foundation for the Porsche legend. On June 8, 1948, the model received road approval and, 75 years later, Porsche will celebrate its anniversary together with numerous guests and important figures from the company’s history.
But Porsche wants any fan to be able to witness this spectacle through a live broadcast of the 75th anniversary celebration ceremony. This broadcast will be held in English and German, and will begin at 9:40 p.m. in Germany (1:40 p.m. Mexico-Central time)) Thursday, June 8.

The event will last one hour and will include a spectacular presentation of music, lights and choreography, with which the manufacturer will offer its vision of the sports car of the future. In five acts, Porsche will deal with issues of heritage, history, performance, pioneering spirit and dreams, against cars from different eras of the company’s 75 years.
Fans around the world are invited to join the festivities live on their screens as Porsche kicks off its special “Driven by Dreams” exhibition. 75 years of Porsche sports cars”. The following day, June 9, the exhibition will open to the public at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart.
