When June arrives, many of us have several dates marked on the agenda: the date of the heat, the date of preparing the holidays and the date of the pride month. By way of closing the party, Škoda joins the LGBTQIA+ pride month celebrations by presenting the Respectline finish of its recent Enyaq Coupé. A finish in line with the values of Škoda and a very popular pride month around the world.
Showing off a unique exterior and interior design, Škoda surprises us (for the better, in my case) with a declaration of intent that starts from its corporate manifesto and that highlights the importance of protecting the human rights and encourage respect towards all people (who do not care what they eat, kiss and pray) and towards the environment.
In addition to this first part of the initiative, Škoda promotes within its ranks equal treatment among all people (group workers or not) regardless of their sex, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or other personal characteristics. In this case, by contextualizing all the issues mentioned on equity, diversity and human rights, they are part of the strategy Next level – Škoda Strategy 2030as well as the 2030 Diversity Strategy.
Škoda has created this design variant in collaboration with group employees who wanted to participate by contributing their grain of sand to the project, the Škoda Enyaq Coupe Respectline was presented in society on June 21 at a concert by the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and also had a presence at the Pride Business Forum. Soon we will see him at the LGBTQIA+ Pride Festival in Prague on August 7. If you go on vacation to Prague, you already have a plan.
Design
The base is clear to us, it is a production Škoda Enyaq Coupé, an electric SUV that has been improved with a layer of special colors inside and out. The white of the base layer symbolizes the unity of all life on earth and color elements are superimposed on it to create a chromatic transition that, according to what Škoda tells us, “it is as colorful and limitless as life itself”. The rainbow crucible is also depicted on the backlit Crystal Face and the horizontal line of the grille is illuminated by 131 white LEDs.
Matrix-LED headlights and Top-LED taillights create a special welcome animation, this part is signed by the Škoda Design Department who also chose to include the logo of the Respectline version both inside and outside.
As a finishing touch to the design, this emblematic Czech glass company puts the seal of quality with a crystal logo that crowns the interior of the Škoda Enyaq Coupe Respectline.
