The Indian company is debating between the possibility of installing its new battery factory for electric vehicles between Zaragoza or a nearby city and another town located in the United Kingdom.
If it comes to fruition, the Tata Motors project would join the Volkswagen battery gigafactory in Sagunto (Valencia) in Spain and could opt for the second call for aid from the Strategic Project for the Recovery and Economic Transformation of the Electric and Connected Vehicle (Perte VEC), of which 2,181 million euros remain to be distributed.
