Fernando Alonso continues to expand his horizons. The Spaniard, two-time Formula 1 world champion and current Aston Martin driver, has joined the ‘fashion’ of TikTok and already created an account in this famous social network.
His account, verified, already has his first video in which the Spaniard confirms that he is signing up for a new way to communicate used by millions and millions of people all over the world, and that every day adds more followers.
“Joining TikTok allows me to connect with my fans in a new way, and share with them my passion and my day to day on the circuits”, says Alonso.
And he already says what we will be able to see: “I am very happy to reach the entire TikTok F1 community, and to be able to show them everything that happens around each Grand Prix in a different way”.
Alonso thus adds one more social network to the list, since Fernando is more than active in others like Twitter and Instagram.
As far as F1 is concerned, on TikTok they are already almost 5.5 million followers, with 110 million ‘likes’ getting closer.
It will be Fernando’s twentieth season in F1, what supposes a total record. As soon as Alonso contests the Bahrain GP he will surpass Michael Schumacher, Kimi Raikkonen and Rubens Barrichello in number of campaigns in the World Cup.
