The changes that are proposed to be carried out in road signage are intended to “traffic signs in which a man is represented as a pedestrian or as a driver”. Likewise, those in which “the woman appears in a situation of dependency and subordination will also be modified; for example, a woman who follows a hiking man or, even, in the case of children, a boy who leads the girl by the hand, who goes after the boy, both to school».
The draft also alludes to those “signs related to caring for people or the domestic sphere, in which a woman is represented.” In another section of the draft, it is concluded: “even though progress has been made, signs contrary to the principles of equality still survive«.
