Many lovers of the motor world know the collection LEGO Speed Champions. They are those block toys that represent real vehicles quite faithfully with a level of simplicity than LEGO Technics and also at a more affordable price. This line is gradually being renewed, adding more cars, usually sports cars. The last to arrive is the mythical Nissan GT-R R34 from Fast & Furiousspecifically the one that Brian O’Conner was driving in the second film of the saga.
It is one of the best known cars that Paul Walker drove and also one of the most representative. The Nissan GT-R R34 is already a popularly acclaimed model thanks to its interesting history and is now more accessible in the form of a LEGO toy. It could become an ideal gift for the upcoming holidays, there is no official release date yet, but it is expected for January 2023. We assume that it will be between 16 and 20 euros like the rest of the simple vehicles in the Speed Champions series.
It’s not the first LEGO set we’ve seen from Fast & Furious, as Dominic Toretto’s Dodge Charger R/T came out a long time ago. As we said, there are not too many details on a technical level, but there is talk that the set will have 319 pieces and will include a good number of details. The decoration is the same as in the movie 2 Fast 2 Furious thanks to a series of vinyl that are incorporated into the block bodywork in silver gray. The generously sized spoiler or the rims that perfectly simulate those worn by the real vehicle are striking.
This LEGO Speed Champions Nissan GT-R R34 is right-hand drive and includes the figure of the legendary Brian O’Conner, who was portrayed by actor Paul Walker. Inside there is no shortage of other nods to the film such as the nitrous oxide bottles in the passenger seat. In short, LEGO once again creates a model that will raise passions among many followers from the Fast & Furious saga or among the most staunch to Nissan and its Skyline GT-R. Surely this collaboration is not the last and we continue to see similar copies in the near future.
