According to the latest report on figures for theft of insured vehicles, issued by the Mexican Association of Insurance Institutions (AMIS), during From April 2022 to March 2023, the theft of 60,705 insured units nationwide was recorded.
On average, 166 vehicles were stolen per day in the last 12 months.
The State of Mexico continues in the first position of the entities with the highest number of stolen insured units with 16,252 units, while Jalisco is in second position with 9,969 units, and Mexico City ranks third with 4,751 units.
6 states concentrate 64.8% of stolen insured units.
