At 37 years old Lewis Hamilton He has no intention of leaving Formula 1. He had doubts after losing the world championship to Max Verstappen on the last lap of Abu Dhabi, but those doubts have disappeared. The Briton has stated that he wants to renew with Mercedes.

And he gave a date to start talking about that renewal: “We haven’t started talking about the future. We want to finish the season and then we’ll find a good time to negotiate like we did last time.”
In addition, Wolff wants to close what role Hamilton will have when he stops being a driver: “Although we are not going to think about his stage after leaving Formula 1, it is also important to talk about his role as ambassador with Mercedes.”
Mercedes does not care about the DNI and does not look at the age of the seven-time world champion: “Today, we have to see athletes push the limits in age terms. In my opinion, the best athlete on the planet, Tom Bradyis on the field taking hits and throwing balls at 45 years old”.
