After much expectation, Nissan presented the redesign of the legendary GT-R, but Despite the rumors that anticipated a deep renovation, it seems that Godzilla only slightly modified his appearance to update himself.without revolutionizing anything.


Beyond the first reactions that expected more radical changes, the truth is that the new Nissan GT-R 2024 presents a series of relatively small aesthetic changes, but also special versions to complete the offer.


Nissan GT-R 2024, design



The model has been installed new front and rear fascias, a new grille and optimized aerodynamic elements. According to the brand, this latest improvement increases downforce, while maintaining its outstanding drag coefficient, which remains unchanged at 0.26 Cx.


On the version side GT-R Nismowe have a new 10% larger rear wing with gooseneck style mounts, a new front splitter, new rear diffuser and skirts. In this version, a new Nismo-exclusive color called Stealth Gray is also offered.


Another of the special versions is the GT-R T-spec, which is based on the GT-R Premium and is available in Millennium Jade and Midnight Purple colors. Among its special features are:


  • 20-inch forged wheels with a gold finish
  • carbon ceramic brakes
  • Wider front fenders
  • Vehicle Dynamic Control System tuned by Nismo
  • Special hallmarks inside and out
  • Dark Mori Green Leather and Suede Upholstery


Nissan GT-R 2024, mechanics



Beneath the chest lies Godzilla’s heart. There we have the acquaintance 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 developing 565 hp and 467 lb-ft of torquemated to a six-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends power to both axles through an all-wheel drive system.


Secondly, the GT-R Nismo version uses an improved version of the VR38DETT engine and manages to develop 600 HP and 481 lb-ft of torque.


While the engine remains the same, there are mechanical changes as it this Nismo version now includes a new limited-slip front differential and recalibrated suspension tuning by the best of Nissan engineering.


The Nissan GT-R 2024 is already presented in Japan and is expected to arrive in the American continent Presenting itself in the United States during the first quarter of the year, while the Nismo version will arrive by mid-2023.
