The 1989 Ferrari F40 is a unique specimen Nardo gray finish and it was delivered new to Kroymans Automotive, official Ferrari dealer in the Netherlands. After three years in the Netherlands, this F40 was rebuilt for racing, including a yellow repaint. Following its acquisition by the current owner, the F40 was shipped to the Zanasi Group of Maranello, Italy, the official Ferrari factory paint shop for supercars and bespoke editions, where it received a cosmetic restoration in its current livery. Currently, its final available power ranges between 700 CV and 1,000 CV depending on the configuration.

The curious thing about this specimen is that It has been up for sale three times in the last few months., as it was offered at a private sale by RM Sotheby’s in August and, later, in December. There is no indication that there is anything wrong with the car, the only thing is that, so far, no one has bought it for the asking price (which we don’t know).
