A long investigation made by the ‘Carabinieri‘, has managed to discover the perpetrators of the robbery and the accomplices. It was an organized gang which has already been arrested.

The Italian authorities issued a press release on Tuesday reporting the arrest of the perpetrators of this crime:
“The Carabinieri of the Viareggio Radiomobile Operational Unitsupported by soldiers of the Provincial Command of Naples, Caserta and Milan, 4 people were arrested, three men and one womanr, as beneficiaries of a restrictive precautionary measure,” they explain.
“The four subjects are being investigated for various reasons for the theft of a precious watch on 18.04.2022 against the acquaintance racing driver Charles Leclerc“, they add.
Through acquisition of video surveillance images and a interrogation of identified witnessesthe two perpetrators of the robbery who used a motorcycle were identified.
