A Less than a month after the presentation in Brazil, Toyota launched in Argentina the long-awaited update of the Yaris that the Thai model had incorporated just over a year ago and that stands out for slight aesthetic modifications and especially, more safety equipment, with the aim to improve its rating in the Latin NCAP tests and continue to be a benchmark in its category.

The Yaris maintains its complete range of versions, 8 in total, of which 5 correspond to the hatchback body and the remaining three to the saloon variant.
These are its main features:
The new:
It is a new update for the Japanese brand’s B-segment hatchback and sedan, which now does release changes in its design and more comfort and, above all, safety equipment.

In the first place, the most striking are the new Led headlights, which, although they maintain their format, incorporate this lighting technology in the top-of-the-range versions. The bumper has also been completely redesigned, now with a huge trapezoidal-format central air intake, accompanied by new frames for the C-shaped fog lights. There are no changes to the sides – except for the new design alloy wheels. – nor in the rear, which remain intact. To differentiate the different equipment options, the most complete will have a chrome detail on the grill.

Inside doors, the only change was the incorporation of a new screen for the multimedia system, which will now be compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as requested by users. It also includes connectivity via Bluetooth and a backup camera, although it lacks physical buttons to operate it more intuitively.
