Turkey's new fifth-generation satellite Turksat 5A, will be launched into space on January 8. According to the statement made by Türksat AŞ, Türksat 5A satellite, which will be sent to space at 04.26 in the morning on January 8, will be launched from the Cape Canaveral base in the USA / Florida state with the Falcon 9 rocket of SpaceX. The Türksat 5A satellite will serve in an orbit of 31 degrees east, as well as securing its frequency and orbit rights in orbit for 30 years with its maneuver life. Turksat 5A satellite, Turkey, Europe, Middle East, North Africa, Central West Africa, South Africa, the Mediterranean, will serve in a geography encompassing the Aegean Sea and the Black Sea. The satellite will provide television broadcasting and data communication services with a capacity of 1728 Megahertz. Turksat 5A, which has a fully electric propulsion system, will travel for about four months to reach its position in space. The satellite is planned to be put into service in the second quarter of the year.
