Volkswagen ID.7 is uncovered in Europe after debuting in Las Vegas

Volkswagen wastes no time when it comes to its electric offensive and, as they say, there is time for everything, because while a demo of the ID.7 was shown off at CES in Las Vegas, with a peculiar “digital” wrapping job, another of his brothers was captured by CarsCoops colleagues performing tests in the snow of Europe.

The curious thing is that this test unit did not have any camouflage, except for the one placed at both ends (front and rear). From then on, no holds barred the captured ID.7 sported a Moonstone Gray color on the body, which also had some different components as to “mislead the enemy”, or the curious like us. The headlights were different, a vinyl simulated a fake grille, while at the rear another vinyl covered the logo and part of the skulls. The wheels are also different from those seen at CES, but let’s remember that this was a demo car.

In the cockpit there will not be much new compared to what the ID.7 showed in Las Vegas:

  • Infotainment system with 15” screen
  • Illuminated touch controls for temperature and volume control
  • digital instruments
  • display with augmented reality
  • Air conditioning with smart vents.

The Volkswagen ID.7 should arrive during the second quarter of 2023, making the most important markets for the brand available: Europe China and North America. It will be erected on the latest update of the MEB + architecture that would give it up to 700 kilometers of autonomy.
