Volkswagen has created an electric office chair with the qualities of any conventional electric car.

The electrification of the automobile is a reality and the vast majority of brands have established the creating electric cars as his number one priority. We already see electric urban cars, electric SUVs, electric vans and even electric sports cars

What we didn’t see coming is Volkswagen’s latest idea (carried into practice). Developed through its commercial vehicle division in Norway of the brand, it is a unique and unrepeatable electric office chair.

It has a range of 12 km

Volkswagen designers and engineers have equipped this chair with a number of typical characteristics of the latest electric cars on the market. It includes a rear-view camera, parking sensors, heater, horn, headlights, and an infotainment touchscreen in the armrest.

All functions are accessible through this control panel on the right sidemanageable with physical buttons, knobs and switches, and there’s a USB slot for charging your device on the go.

There is even a trailer hitch in case you want to take one of your co-workers for a walk, and blinkers so you don’t confuse those other vehicles that follow you.

Although you won’t be able to buy it (forget about being the envy of all your office mates), it has a declared autonomy of 12 km and a maximum speed of 20 km/henough to tour the facilities of your company for many days and get to the coffee machine first.

6 out of 10 Volkswagen Group combustion cars will disappear

Volkswagen uses this unique vehicle to demonstrate its inventiveness and the possibilities of manufacturing small electric vehicles. In fact, the project was conceived as a way to draw attention to the division vans, including a forthcoming commercial version of the ID. Buzz, which will go on sale in our country before the end of the year.
