Some out there have already dared to nickname it “the Swedish Maybach”. Perhaps because of its paint design on the body or because of the 22″ wheels, but a matter of appreciation. What really stands out about the Volvo EX90 Excellence is its high level of luxury and comfort contained within the cabin.
It directs all its efforts at the two rear-seat passengers who, by the way, maintain a two-seat-separate configuration (there’s no third row). The whole raison d’être of this model occurs in this area of the passenger compartment, Well, both luxury and comfort elevate their meaning through a series of high-level components and finishes:
- It has a console located between the two seats, which is used to protect a small refrigerator
- Fused with a wood finish, is the touch panel that adjusts the climate functions
- It has an active crystal signed by Orrefors (Swedish brand) with ambient lighting through which an aroma dispenser with three fragrances to choose from is controlled.
And although the textures and finishes border on the ostentatious, the most surprising in the cabin of the Volvo EX90 Excellence is that they are mostly sustainable materials accompanied by technological components:
- Ecological Nordic upholstery created with synthetic fibers from recycled PET
- Ergonomic neck pillows
- Infotainment system with 14.5” screen.
Volvo did not reveal much information about the powertrain of this SUV, only that it will have two electric motors, all-wheel drive and a range of up to 650 kilometers, without forgetting that the same brand has cataloged the Volvo EX90 Excellence as the safest four-seater vehicle they have developed.
