“When we have a clean weekend…”

After 15 days of hiatus, the Formula 1 back in action with Brazilian Grand Prix in the circuit interlagos in a weekend that is expected to be rough, which can lead to big surprises both in the sprint qualifying like in the race.

Analyzing the forecasts for the penultimate appointment of the F1 calendar, Fernando Alonso has influenced this factor, since it may be the trigger for us to see a ‘Canada 2.0’.

“There is always an unknown element when you arrive in Brazil. Tends to throw up some interesting runs and results. The weather is difficult to predict and we have seen some classic tests in the past, due to this unpredictability,” said the Spaniard in the Alpine preview.

“We will probably see some mixed weather conditions in qualifying, the Sprint or the race. Thanks to the Sprint format, we have two attempts to score points and extend our lead over McLaren heading into the final Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi.”

Given that there is the possibility of scoring points both in the sprint classification and in the race, Alonso has the last bullet left to be able to extend the distance with McLaren and reduce the one you have with your partner, Stephen Ocon.

“That has been the goal every weekend and it is no different there in Brazil. We thought the fight for fourth place in the constructors would go all the way to Abu Dhabi and it looks like it will. We know that when we have a clean weekend with no problemswe have a fast car that is more than capable of scoring points”, he settled, sending the umpteenth plea to Alpine so that there is no other reliability failure.
