Until recently, Microsoft started using Edge instead of Windows 10, which was using Internet explorer. There was a constant problem with this browser as well. Recently, it has been revealed that users of Windows 10 have secretly installed Office on their computers via the Edge browser without Microsoft's permission. Office applications installed using Edge include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Under normal circumstances, users who use this application can be installed manually using a browser. But the fact that it was secretly installed on their computers naturally caused reactions in users who do not want to use it.
After these reactions, Microsoft said in a statement that it was caused by an error found in the Edge browser. Upon the occurrence of this situation, Microsoft announced that it intervened and paused the installation process.
Users who do not want to use these applications can uninstall them by going to Settings> Control Panel> Add a Program.
