As has been known for a couple of years, The French brand Alpine will compete again in the major series of the World Endurance Championship (WEC) and in the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 2024 with its new hypercar Developed in conjunction with Signatech.
But the brand has a very good track record on Circuit de Le Sarthe, It has participated in endurance races since the 1960s and the legendary A442 triumphed in the 1978 edition. And for the same reason, it wants to honor the centenary edition of the mythical race with the launch of a special edition of the A110 R simply called Le Mans, and of which only 100 units will be produced.

The A110 R Le Mans is based on the A110 R version and incorporates carbon parts on the roof, deflectors and wheels, as well as Sabelt Track bucket seats. It also features a carbon spoiler that evokes the design of drag racing cars.
The use of lightweight components allows the scale to weigh just 1,085 kilos. So, The powerful turbocharged engine upgraded to 300 Hp allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 285 km/h on the circuit.

This limited series features the ‘Road & Track’ system, which allows a 10mm lowering of the chassis height for when used on circuits.
It features stiffer stabilizer bars and coil springs, and new shocks that are adjustable for both compression and rebound make their debut. This technical development improves performance on the long straight of Le Sarthe (Hunaudières) and in the fast corners of the 24 Hour circuit.

It also has an exclusive white and blue decoration in homage to the emblematic colors of Le Mans, while a thin double blue line stands out on the carbon elements.
Other additions to this version are bucket seats and a shark fin on the rear glass made of carbon fiber.

The Alpine A110 R Le Mans will have a price of 142,000 euros and will obviously not be available in Mexico
