The Vietnamese SUV Vinfast VF8 is one of the worst cars in history according to the analyzes of the American press.
In recent years it must be recognized that there are very few bad cars. Expert testers may like one aspect more than another and There are cars that have things to improve, but bad or completely bad, there are hardly any (or at least they have not reached Spain).
One that could arrive and to which they have put, as it is popularly said “to fall from a donkey” is the VF8, the great SUV of the Vietnamese brand Vinfast. It is, of course, an electric car with up to 402 HP of power and a range of up to 447 km.

It has been the American press that has been able to drive the Vinfast VF8, which is already on sale in the United States with a price of around 50,000 dollars (just over 46,000 euros), and impressions have not been favorable at all.
Dynamic behavior has been one of the most criticized aspects. Some of the journalists who have been able to drive it maintain that the damping of the suspension is terrible and the movements of the body induce dizziness.
To this must be added that steering response is not linear or consistent, and there is absolutely no feedback through the steering wheel. It’s bad, especially when you put the VF8 in Sport mode and the steering becomes so overdone it’s uncontrollable.

Another tester went even further. These are the exact words of Mark Hogan of Road & Track: “The VinFast VF8 has the worst body control of any modern car I have driven. During a 90-minute trip, the 1,600 kg SUV did not stop swaying, swaying and shaking, producing almost constant head movements. When I was in the passenger seat, I got dizzy for the first time in years.”
