During the F1 Accelerate roundtable organized by the Wall Street Journal, journalist Will Buxton dropped the ‘bombshell’: Brad Pitt will get on a Formula 1 at Silverstone.
The actor is recording a film about the ‘Great Circus’ with the endorsement of Lewis Hamilton and they would have set the British Grand Prix as the weekend in which to record the action.
In fact, as the aforementioned journalist slipped, Pitt could share the track with the rest of the drivers on the F1 grid.
“Your F1 movie sounds amazing. They are building an 11th team and filming on track and at events from Silverstone until the end of the year,” he stated.
At the moment, only a brief synopsis of the film is known: the actor plays an experienced pilot who he will return from his retirement to prepare a ‘rookie’.
