One of them is the Elonroad project (clearly a tribute to Elon Musk, owner of Tesla) that is being developed in Sweden. This project consists of a recharging system that is on the asphaltbut unlike the systems of wireless charging that are being tested in some parts of the world, here the solution is inspired by the Scalextric.
What does the Scalextric have to do with charging electric cars?

The Elonroad project consists of the creation of electrified sections on the roads through which electric vehicles circulate. In several sections of the Swedish cities of Lund and Maristad, have been placed metal strips one meter long on alternate sections of the road. These strips are electrified and only generate electricity when a car is connected to them and they feed independently, so There is only electricity under the car, just like with Scalextric cars.

To connect to such electricity, electric cars must have a folding rail system installed. and that they are the ones that connect the vehicle with the electrified strips.
