Regarding the motorization, the new Montana pick up is equipped with the well-known 1.2L Turbo engine with 132 horsepower and 190 Nm of torque, (the same one that equips the Tracker). The engine has an exclusive calibration, in line with the versatile proposal of the vehicle. This same work was replicated in the rest of the mechanical systems, such as the transmission, steering and suspension. Even the tires were specially developed for this model. This impeller is associated with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The cargo box has a capacity of 874 liters and 600 kg load capacity, with storage compartments, lighting on both sides, eight lashing hooks, electric door with approach sensor and weight relief. It also features an advanced bed cover waterproofing system, offering best-in-class protection against water intrusion in its segment.
The new Chevrolet Montana will be marketed in two versions: LTZ and Premier as the top of the range.
