A 1980 Range Rover believed to have been owned by Bob Marley and in poor condition is up for auction in the UK.
Not that it’s in the best possible state of preservation, but this Range Rover that believed to have been owned by Bob Marley It is going to be auctioned in the UK.
The auctioneers claim that this 1980 Range Rover Classic he was one of two who belonged to the reggae icon. Precisely, Marley acquired this copy one year before his death, which occurred in 1981.
Its state of conservation is not very good

The 43-year-old Ranger Rover will be offered to the highest bidder on March 25 at the Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show, taking place at the NEC in Birmingham, UK from March 24-26. According to Classic Car Auctions, this Range Rover has been a well-travelled specimen: it was shipped from Solihull (UK) to Germany and from there to Jamaica and “it is ripe for restoration”.
Interestingly, a Range Rover with apparently identical paint damage and smashed headlights and windshield it was displayed at Jamaica’s Geejam Hotel in 2016. The listing for the lot, which is offered without reservation, states that the original registration document, now unavailable, bore the name “Robert Nesta Marley.”

Simon Langsdale of Classic Car Auctions, who purchased the car, notes: “We are delighted to offer this former Bob Marley Range Rover up for public auction. I’m sure it will attract great interest.”.
