It has a very unique configuration, which emulates the mythical 280 GE of the year 1986, but with the attributes of the last generation. As always, it has left the Magna Steyr facilities in Graz (Austria), where they have been manufactured for 44 years.
The 500,000th Mercedes G-Class receives a paint Agave Green, a historical tone that fits perfectly with other details such as the five-spoke wheels, the indicator covers or the rear spare wheel. Inside, the configuration is not far behind, as it receives a checkered fabric upholstery which references the 1980s, with “Schöckl” door sills and special edition lettering at various points. Classic touches for a truly modern vehicle.
It should not be forgotten that, although the origins of the G-Class go back many years, the latest generation introduced state of the art improvements. That has allowed it to go from being a pure commercial vehicle to a luxury SUV with off-road capabilities. Because all-wheel drive is maintained, with differential locks to get anywhere. but also a level of quality that very few reach vehicles, not to mention really up-to-date and complete technology and equipment.
