Buick revealed globally new Interview 2024a new crossover, which according to the brand itself offers the cargo space and utility of an SUV, within sporty and elegant proportions normally found in a sedan. Thus, it is an alternative to the Encore GX, in less dramatic ways.
During his presentation, Duncan Aldred, Buick-GMC Global Vice President, said: “When you consider all that Envista has to offer, from its stunning design, standard technology and premium affordability, it’s going to be hard to find a better option in the segment.”.
2024 Buick Envista: Design
The all-new 2024 Envista will be the first vehicle to incorporate Buick’s new design language, first shown on the Wildcat EV concept last year.. This includes the new face of Buick, which features a low-profile silhouette and a sort of forward-sloping nose. Buick’s new emblem is now mounted to the body, directly above a stylish grille design.
The headlamps and taillamps evolve Buick’s signature wing lighting with a slimmer, sharper shape. The LED lights are mounted on top of the fascia, while the rest of the functional lighting sits lower on the body, creating a refined, layered look.
In keeping with its sporty nature, all-black 18-inch wheels will be standard on the ST trim, with 19-inch wheels available. 19-inch Bespoke Pearl Nickel wheels will be featured on the Avenir trim.
2024 Buick Envista: Interior
General Motors claims that advances in materials and technology allowed designers to maximize interior cabin space. Plus, boasting a long wheelbase and efficient layout, the Envista offers the spaciousness and legroom often seen in much larger vehicles.
In terms of technology, the combined 19” LCD screens stand out. In addition, it has an 11 “diagonal infotainment screenbeing one of the largest in the segment.
Attention to detail is found throughout the interior, be it through the colorful stitching on the seats or the embroidered Avenir and ST logos on the headrests. The QuietTuning system is also present.
2024 Buick Envista: Safety
The new 2024 Buick Envista will include active safety and driver assistance technologies, such as automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, IntelliBeam automatic high beams, in addition to the high-definition rear-view camera that will come as standard.
It will also feature available safety and driver assistance technologies such as Lane Departure Alert with Side Blind Spot Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
2024 Buick Envista: Engine
Envista is powered by a high-performance 1.2L Turbo engine with a six-speed automatic transmission and will deliver up to 136 horsepower with 162 lb-ft of torque. This engine is already known in other General Motors products, such as the new Chevrolet Trax/Seeker.
2024 Buick Envista: Sales start
The new Buick Envista will be available in the US in three different trims: Preferred, Sport Touring (ST) and Avenir. For its part, it was also confirmed that it will arrive in Mexico in the second half of 2023.
