Honda has introduced the second generation of its Honda Sensing 360 and Sensing Elite driving assistance packageswhich will be available as standard on all its cars for sale (at least in the main markets) from 2030.
Honda Sensing includes an extended verification range throughout the vehicle and helps mitigate blind spots to improve collision avoidance.
Honda Sensing 360 will debut in China in 2024 and will feature new technologies to further reduce the burden on the driver by reducing the probability of collisions through the accurate detection of abnormal conditions occurring in the driver and the vehicle environment.
Honda will also accelerate the advancement and popularization of Honda Sensing Elite, a variation that features advanced safety technologies that aim at autonomous driving. This new generation will include technologies for driving off highways, in heavy traffic, at crossroads and in parking processes, among others.
Since Honda Sensing and AcuraWatch US introductions in 2014there are already almost 7 million vehicles that have the benefit of these technologies.
