Carlos Sainz’s apology on the radio after touching the walls of Monaco in Free Practice 2

Carlos Sainz signed a great free practice session in the Monaco Grand Prix ending in third position just behind Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc. The man from Madrid is running as one of the favorites to take the pole

However, the Ferrari driver ended the session earlier than expected due to an accident 15 minutes from the end of free practice, similar to that of his teammate, Charles Leclerc, last season. Sainz lost control in the curve of the pool and ended up crashing into the guardrail.

The Spanish driver assumed responsibility for the incident and apologized to the team: “Yeah, yeah, I’m fine… sorry about this”

Until then, Sainz’s performance was being immaculate and has made it clear that he is one of the candidates for not only take the pole if not also to be able to get hold of victory on Sunday.
