One month before the Formula 1 engines start at the Bahrain Grand Prix, this Friday the champion car was revealed: the Red Bull of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez. The RB19, which has been featured in New York City. There, of course, the two pilots have been accompanied by Christian Horner.
And the double champion, Verstappen, has spoken of his ambitions: “I already fulfilled everything I wanted in my sports career. So now how do I stay here. Last year was very strong and I always want to improve, nobody is perfect. You can always improve throughout your career.”
His goal is none other than to be champion again, go for the third: “We are very optimistic in this 2023.”
Pérez, for his part, highlighted the work of the entire team since the end of last season: “We want to progress, it will be very difficult. As a team we are giving everything in winter we had a lot of work”.
Gone are the frictions at the end of last season. Horner wanted to highlight that there is no better lineup than Red Bull’s on the entire grid: “These guys are the best duo we’ve ever had in our history in Formula 1.”

Ricciardo, third pilot
Daniel Ricciardowho will be a reserve driver in 2023, was also present at the event after his return from McLaren: “I will be in some races. I will help develop the car, a lot of simulator work. Try to take the team to the highest possible. We will be very close to the engineers.”
