plans are already known Aston Martin ahead of the Bahrain pre-season tests, which will be held from this Thursday until Saturday (from 23 to 25). Lance Stroll will be low after suffering a bicycle accident and his replacement will be Philip Drugovich.
Much had been said about whether Fernando Alonso could face the three days of testing. But the green team has decided that Drugovich gets into the car in case Stroll does not make it to the first race of the Formula 1 World Championship at the Sakhir circuit.
The Brazilian Drugovich will drive on Thursday morning, while Alonso will appear in the second session starting at 13 hours (Spanish time).
The plan for Friday and Saturday has not been revealed by Aston Martin, which will communicate it in the coming days. Therefore, it will be Drugovich the one who drives the car for the first time in these pre-season tests.
UPDATE: @FelipeDrugovich will attend the Bahrain test to share driving duties with Fernando Alonso. Felipe is scheduled to drive AMR23 on Thursday morning with Fernando taking over in the afternoon.
