It has been a very busy morning in the Formula 1 market. Not in the driver market, but in the team manager market. Andreas Seidl has signed with Alfa Romeo, Andrea Stella with McLaren and Fred Vasseur He has become the new boss of the Ferrari team.
Regarding Stella, an old acquaintance of Fernando Alonsohas gone to McLaren, where next season he joins Oscar Piastri to the team that already completed Lando Norris.
The Asturian has wished him luck with an affectionate message through his social networks: “Very happy for you, Andrea.”
Stella and Alonso worked together at both McLaren and Ferrari. Before, the engineer had worked with two world champions in the Maranello team: Michael Schumacher and Kimi Raikkonen.
Although not in the same team (Stella in McLaren and now Alonso in Aston Martin), both will meet again on the Formula 1 grid.
