We had anticipated that the brand new MG Cyberster, the totally new sports car presented by MG Motor at the last Shanghai Motor Show, would have its dynamic debut at Goodwood, during the Festival of Speed, and here we bring you the video.
It is worth saying that the MG Cyberster is a 100% electric two-seater roadster, the brand’s first attempt to return to this segment since 1995and that gave him so many successes in the middle of the last century, when Morris Garage was independent and 100% British.

The MG Cyberster is 4.5m long, 1.9m wide, 1.3m high, 2.6m wheelbase; and has a curb weight of 1,850 kg. As far as is known, It will be offered with one or two engines, in the latter case, it will have all-wheel drive since it will unite one on the front axle with 150 kW and another in the rear with 250 kW, for a sum of 400 kW or 536 Hp of power. The rear-wheel drive versions will be two, with 230 kW (310 Hp) or 250 kW (335 Hp), respectively.
Aesthetically it has classic proportions for a two-seater roadster, with the seats between the two axles, large air intakes, scissor-opening doorsand a lot of “musculature” in the rear.
Inside it looks very well built, with a curved digital panel, touch controls and a novel “half steering wheel”, in the style of aircraft rudders.
We will have to wait for it to see the MG Cyberster in person, but in the meantime, we leave you the video of its debut.
