Hyundai is well known for not making so much noise unless it is strictly necessary, the most recent call confirms it: Hyundai Creta 2024 arrives in Mexico Premiering design, safety, and equipment distributed in three versions. It is a very interesting evolution, although we do not understand what happened to the turbo engine.
Hyundai Creta 2024: Design
The visual part has evolved pleasantly, let’s say that it intends to look more like the Tucson; is sophisticated, modern and well updated. It integrates new body colors, which will also have options to be two-tone. There are new elements that help Creta achieve this new visual proposal:
- New front grill design
- new anagrams
- Reviewed logo
- Redesigned headlights and taillights, LED
- 16 and 17 inch wheels.
Hyundai Creta 2024: Cockpit
Despite in the first impression some materials of the passenger compartment “are due” a littlewe focus on the new, on those components that come to refresh the interior, but above all on those that are added to the previous model of Hyundai Creta and that will be available from the entry version (GLS IVT):
- Remote start & push button start
- electronic parking brake
- LED daytime running lights
- Adjustable steering column
- Electrical package (mirrors, windows and locks)
- Vanity visors.
Components such as the 8” and 10.25” screens (from the GLS Premium version), “flattened” steering wheel at the bottom, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity, among others, are also part of the equipment.
Hyundai Creta 2024: Engine
The mechanical offer is not bad, it is a small block of 1.5 liters normally aspirated that although it will be noble in the city, the “extra strength” of the turbocharged 1.4 GDI will be missed, available until the previous model only in the Limited version; so mechanical setup for all versions Hyundai Creta 2024 looks like this:

Perhaps the biggest and best evolution of Hyundai Creta 2024 is in the security section. 6 airbags stand out from the entry version, handbrake with auto hold and the Hyundai SmartSense for the top version which integrates a complete assistance package: forward collision avoidance assistant, lane keeping, lane correction, blind spot, cross traffic among others.
