Max Verstappen ended up very pissed off after participating in the eSports race of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Dutchman, two-time Formula 1 world champion, exploded against the event and did not hold his tongue when it came to qualifying what he had experienced.
“Is this an event? No, you can’t call it that. This is a clown show.” said.
And it is that Verstappen, who was first, saw how there were security flaws in the broadcast and up to three red flags were raised, which made the test stop and his team withdrew the car from the tournament when they saw how they had gone from the lead to 14th place, since two laps leading the race.
“It’s the third time it’s happened to me. Now I get kicked out of the game during the race. It’s the last time I’m involved in this. They call it bad luck… and it is simply incompetence! Nor can they control their own game,” he says.
Verstappen, directly, says that he is going to uninstall the game… and invites everyone to do the same.
“I’m going to. I’m going to uninstall this. And that’s a good thing, because free up space on the PC. I hope everyone does,” he says.
Max could not hide his tremendous anger at everything that happened in a race for which, according to what he says, it was prepared for “two months”.
