Hyundai adds and continues with its revolutionary and played designs, without fear of having to break schemes with its range of models. Believe it or not, this is how the totally renewed one looks fifth generation of the Santa Fe SUVone of the most popular models of the Korean brand, which abandons its always curvaceous figure to launch a quadriform style, with more character and that in some details, seems to take note of the brand’s past, especially the Hyundai Galloper.

The premise with this new generation is to make the versatility of SUVs compatible with the current trends sought by the most frequent customers in the outdoor world, which, as we know, are migrating towards models with a more robust and classic appearance. The quadriform design helps to achieve a larger space, especially in the trunk, which seeks not only to be a cargo space, but also a recreational cubicle to enjoy the outdoors, folding the second and third row seats.

The elements that remind us of the Galloper are found in its straight grill, where there is also a luminous signature that runs through it, with more square optics with the signature of the “H” of Hyundai, the marked wheel arches and the silhouette of the roof. The back is tremendously groundbreaking, since we have a clean tailgate, which relegates the lights (also in the form of “H”) to the lower part, before the bumper, a detail that may not be to everyone’s taste. The wheels and tires, at least in these official renders, are 21 inches.

The interior takes influences from the brand’s most modern models such as the Grandeur and the IONIQ 5. The console follows the H pattern, with a horizontal design and continuous vents, plus a curved panel with two 12.3″ screens for the instrument cluster and multimedia system. The center console has a lower compartment and an upper tray with space for wireless charging for two phones.
Hyundai Galloper produced from 1991 to 2004
The luxury is given by the light woods and leathers, the metallic surfaces and the soft and warm lights. The finest materials are melted down with high-quality recyclable materials.
Hyundai did not reveal any further information about the Santa Fe, as the official launch will be in August, where the measurements, mechanical offer and new technologies of this generation will be known.
