Fernando Alonso has landed on his feet Aston Martin. Not only because of how well the car is doing, with which he has achieved four podiums in five races, but because of everything he is contributing to a team that is growing. For everything he is giving to a team that, with him, has gone from being in the middle of the table to being the great opposition of Red Bull. That he is getting closer to adding a victory in Formula 1.
The two-time champion, it is also noted, is happy. He is happy. He is more motivated than ever, as Lawrence Stroll has said. What do you want? what is the soul being by Aston Martin. And that is also surprising everyone with his attitude.
Not only for what he does on the court, but also, and above all, for everything that contributes outside of it. That’s how he recognized it Philip Drugovich in ‘GiveMe Sports’, where he has surrendered to everything the Asturian represents.
Because he is clear: “He is a teacher in everything he does.”
“Alonso is better than you expect”
“It’s really special see what he is capable of both on and off the track. Especially outside,” Drugovich says.
The Brazilian points out that it is something that nobody can imagine: “It is even better than one can expect.”
“He is very good in the ‘defriefs’, and always pay attention to any small detail”, he insists.
Because for Drugovich, Fernando is being his ‘teacher’ in Formula 1: “It’s really Nice to learn from him.”
“It is an honor to work with him. Hopefully, in the future, I can compete against him”, says the Brazilian.
