“I think that being a teammate with a driver like Marc is the best way to measure yourself, you compare yourself with the best and in the end I think that when you have two competitive riders on the team, one always pushes the other to always give something more. This is what we have to do,” he says.

The ’36’ left Suzuki after being crowned as World Champion in 2020 and faces a major challenge in Repsol Honda Team.
“For me it is an honor. I am super nervous because I have imagined many times with these colors on and now I’m very excited to be here. I really want to start and I feel super grateful to be in this team with so much history”, he highlighted.
Regarding his adaptation to a different motorcycle, Joan Mir is cautious: “It is not easy because I I have to adapt a bit to this engine that is differentit rides in a totally different way to what I had tried before and having to adapt to the bike, plus testing parts to know what we are going to take has not been easy”.
