In case there were any doubts about the camaraderie that existed in the garage of Sling when bringing together two champions on the same team, Joan Mir has been resounding in ‘Dazn’ when it comes to ruling on what it means to have Marc Márquez so close.

“I think that being a teammate with a driver like Marc is the best way to measure yourself, you compare yourself with the best and in the end I think that when you have two competitive riders on the team, one always pushes the other to always give something more. This is what we have to do,” he says.

Marc Márquez believes that they are two pilots “towards the same direction”

Márquez has a similar vision of the sensations prior to the season, which produces him having a champion like Joan by his side: “We’re both going in the same directionthat this also makes Honda’s work a little easier and hopefully we can fight many races together because it will mean that we are fighting for the front positions.”
