Lexus had been ahead of the TX 2024but it is until now that it officially reveals it. True, it shares a lot with the Toyota Grand Highlander, but it has its own solutions that give it its own identity and eye, it is important that you read this note carefully, since this model will arrive in Mexico. Let’s know all the details:
The 2024 Lexus TX is a crossover with three rows of seats. Whose design is inspired by the aerodynamic lines of the RX. It is so, that the grill does not have chrome, and is made one with the fascia. Frankly, it has not received good reviews, but as they say, tastes break genres. Fatos feature LED daytime running lights.
Although the front is the most discussed part of the TX, the rest of the vehicle has solutions more typical of what the brand has accustomed us to. Thus, on the sides we have a robust and aerodynamic image, with square lines. The 20 or 22-inch wheels stand out, while at the back, the skulls run the width of the vehicle.

Doors inside, we are greeted by a Lexus-style interior. The materials and finishes are obviously good, but don’t expect a disruptive design, quite the contrary. If it were not for the 12.3-inch cluster and the 14-inch screen, we would be talking about a very classic cabin.
Depending on trim, the Lexus TX can incorporate features such as a head-up camera, multi-color ambient lighting, or a 21-speaker Mark Levinson premium sound system.
In terms of dimensions, the TX measures 5,159 mm long, 1,989 mm wide and 1,781 mm high with a wheelbase of 2,949 mm. These generous numbers translate into a fairly generous interior space, which has three rows of seats with regular or captain’s chairs. As for the trunk, it offers 569 liters behind the third row. Figure that increases to 2,747 liters when the second and third row are lowered.
Regarding mechanics, we have that the Lexus TX will be offered with three different powertrains. PTo start off, there’s the TX 350 that has a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder that makes 275 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque. The transmission is an eight-speed automatic. Traction can be front or integral.
Higher up is the TX 500h F Sport Performance, which features a hybrid powertrain that combines the 2.4-liter turbocharged engine with the power of electric power. Combined power is 366 hp and 409 lb-ft of torque. The combined consumption is 10 km/l. The drive is all Direct4 and highlights the dynamic rear steering system that can turn the rear wheels in the same direction or in the opposite direction to the front wheels.

The pinnacle comes with the TX 550h+, which uses a plug-in hybrid system, which by combining a 3.5-liter V6 with a generator and battery (the specifications were not disclosed), it is capable of delivering 406 Hp, at the same time that it is capable of circulating on a 100% electric motor for up to 53 kilometers.
In terms of safety, the TX integrates the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 that includes technologies such as: dynamic radar cruise control for all speeds, lane tracking assistance, pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with assistance steering, traffic sign assistance and proactive driving assistance.
Optionally, assistants can be added such as the advanced parking system that makes parallel and perpendicular parking very easy, as well as the Traffic Jam Assist, which, as its name suggests, is a great help in heavy traffic jams.
Manufactured at Toyota’s Princeton, Indiana plant. The 2024 TX 350 and 500h will go on sale in the United States this fall, with the 550h+ joining soon after. His arrival in Mexico is confirmed for the end of this year.
