The fifth generation of the Toyota Prius, the world’s most famous hybrid made its international debut late last year. In the markets where it is already available, it has left a great taste in the mouth. It is so, that in Mexico we are waiting for all the information about its arrival.
In fact, contrary to market trends, Toyota of Mexico revealed the versions and prices with which this car will be available in our country from the second half of this year. In this way the offer of the new Prius will be composed:
- Prius Base: $469,900 pesos
- Prius Premium: $543,900 pesos
It is worth mentioning that the fifth-generation Prius is powered by a 2.0-liter gasoline engine that pairs with an electric one. Power is 194 horsepower. By the way, it debuts the second generation of the modular architecture of Toyota called TNGAwhich has been reinforced to reduce torque and deliver handling.
Finally, we must not forget that the Prius was the first hybrid model that Toyota launched on our market in 2010. Since its arrival, it has sold more than 40,000 units.
