Fabrice Cambolive has been promoted to CEO of the Renault brand, and will take up his new role on February 1, working his way up from his position as COO of the Renault brand. He will inform de Meo.
Cambolive, 54, joined the Renault Group in 1992 and held international sales positions in Spain, Switzerland, France, Germany and Romania. In 2011 he was appointed vice president of sales and marketing for Russia and Eurasia. He was appointed CEO of Renault Brazil in 2015.

Fabrice was the COO (Chief Operating Officer) of the Renault brand since May 2022 and will report directly to Luca de Meo
Cambolive was promoted to head of the Africa/Middle East/India/Pacific region in 2017. He became head of sales and operations for the Renault brand in 2021 and in May 2022 assumed his current role as chief operating officer.
Under De Meo’s leadership, the Renault brand is shifting its emphasis from high-volume, lower-margin small cars like the Clio to the compact and midsize segments, with key new models including the Austral compact SUV and the upcoming Espace midsize SUV. Cambolive will be crucial to that transition, de Meo said in a brief statement.

As of February 1, Luca de Meo will only be the CEO of the Renault Group and leaves the position of Director of the Renault brand, it is prudent to comment that De Meo he held both positions since July 2020.
De Meo added in the statement announcing the appointment:
“His commitment, his international experience and his deep knowledge of the group will allow him to continue ensuring the progress of the brand in high-value segments,” he said about Cambolive.
