He MG4 EV has been named UK Car of the Year 2023by a panel of experts who selected the Chinese-sourced electric hatchback as the best new car on sale in the UK.
The jury made up of 27 automotive journalists distinguished the design, technology and excellent price/quality ratio of the MG4recognizing that the new all-electric hatchback brings zero-emission mobility within the reach of more people.
The MG4 was crowned the overall winner of a final list of seven new cars, each winner of one of the contested categories. They were:
- Urban car – Toyota Aygo X
- Family Car – MG4
- Large Family Car – Dacia Jogger
- Crossover/SUV – Kia Niro
- Crossover/Large SUV – Land Rover Range Rover
- Coupe – Toyota GR86
- Sports car – Lotus Emira.
