Lhe Ingolstadt brand launched the fourth generation of the successful Audi A3 model in our country. Its history goes back to the year 1996 when the first model of the C segment was presented. Its manufacture is carried out in different parts of the world since it is a global car: Ingolstadt (Germany) and Györ (Hungary).
It comes in both hatch and sedan silhouettes. Both bodies had already been exhibited at the classic Cariló stand in the summer of 2022.
The fourth generation of the Audi A3 is based on the MQB modular platform, which was already used in the third generation. The A3 Sportback has small changes in its measurements: length 4,343 mm and wheelbase of 2,636 mm, offering a trunk capacity of 380 liters that can be expanded by 1,200 liters if the rear seats are folded.
For its part, the Audi A3 Sedan has a length of 4.5 meters (150 mm more than the A3 Sportback), the same wheelbase of 2,636 mm and a trunk capacity of 450 liters.
It is available for both silhouettes with two engines and all with front-wheel drive: a 1.4-liter TFSI engine that delivers 150 HP and a torque of 250 Nm, associated with an 8-speed Tiptronic box that allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/ h in 8.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 224 km/h.
The other engine, also turbocharged, with a 2.0-liter TFSI that delivers 190 HP and a torque of 320 Nm, associated with a 7-speed S-tronic dual-clutch box that allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 241 km/h.
