Imported from Germany, the Gran Coupé stands out precisely for the greater space in the rear seats and a trunk capacity of 470 liters (expandable to 1,290 liters by folding down the rear seatback). The differences begin to appear from the B-pillar to the rear, with the addition of frameless rear doors and a reinterpretation of the famous Hofmeister arch, with a third window that extends towards the C-pillar.
Inside doors, the similarities with the two-door variant appear again, with which it shares the dashboard. Unlike the i4, instead of the huge curved screen, the Gran Coupé has somewhat more sober instrumentation, with two screens separated from each other, one of 12.3″ for vehicle parameters and another of 10.3″ for the iDrive 7.0 multimedia system.
