The Citroën C5 Aircross C-Series is the special edition that wins the compact SUV that the brand renewed in 2022. Launched already last year, for 2023 it wins the option of being able to also be equipped with access hybrid mechanics, with 180 CV of power, identical to the one we met in the Peugeot 308 SW test.
Within the SUV range, which stands out for its three individual rear seats and its ride comfort, the C5 Aircross C Series is located between the Feel Pack access finish and the most exclusive Shine Pack version. It stands out for its good balance between price and equipment.
In addition to the hybrid engine, this finish is also offered with the 130 HP 1.2 PureTech gasoline engine (associated with a six-speed manual transmission or the 8-speed automatic) or the 1.5 BlueHDi, also with 130 HP but which can only be linked to the automatic transmission.
In the aesthetic section, it offers 18-inch wheels, EcoLED front optics, fog lights with Cornering Light function, tinted rear windows, electrically adjustable and folding heated exterior rear-view mirrors… but above all it differs from the rest of the range by the Bronze color package Mate.
Inside we find the Advanced Comfort seats upholstered in black and gray and the driver’s seat with height and lumbar adjustment, dual-zone air conditioning, digital instrument panel with a 12-inch screen or the infotainment system with browser and 10-inch touch screen. In terms of security we have front and rear proximity sensors, a rear view camera, multiple airbags, traffic sign recognition, frontal collision risk alert, blind spot surveillance system…
The prices are adjusted and, in the case of the plug-in hybrid SUV, it includes a 3 kW on-board charger and a 1.8 kW charging cable:
