Although we are still not even close to a European reference in electric mobility, more and more zero-emission vehicles are seen in big cities… Let’s see which are the favourites.
During 2022, close to 330,000 new electrified vehicles have been sold in our country (10.2% more than in 2021), of which the vast majority are conventional non-plug-in hybrids. However, the role of 100% electric is increasing, having reached 36,452 units delivered by the end of 2022. Of course, there are cars, commercial, industrial, buses and even quadricycles. We are only going to focus on passenger cars to review in the following list which have been best selling electric in our country during the past year.
The 10 most interesting novelties that arrive in 2023
Tesla Model 3

One stands out above the rest, and it is none other than the Tesla Model 3. The most accessible model of the Californian brand has sold 2,676 units in Spain in the last 12 months. Even so, they are about 6.2% fewer units than those sold in all of 2021…
Fiat 500e

The Italian urbanite is placed in second place with 1,867 units sold, some 800 less than Elon Musk’s Model 3. Undoubtedly, its endearing aesthetics and the efficient propulsion system that moves it are two good arguments for using it in daily routine. This year the Abarth version will also join, with more “chicha” in benefits and fun.
Tesla Model Y

Tesla’s small SUV takes the last drawer of the podium with only one less unit registered by Anfac compared to the 500e. Remember that it is a model practically traced to the Model 3, but with a crossover body. It has three versions with powers ranging from 325 to 480 CV.
Kia e-Niro

1,517 units make it the best-selling electrical room in the Spanish market. It has just released a new, much more modern generation and boasts a 64.8 kWh battery to travel about 460 km with each recharge. Its maximum power is 204 hp and the price starts at around 43,300 euros.
Citroen ë-C4

The chevron brand is ahead of other electric cars such as the Mini, Hyundai Kona, Dacia Spring, Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6 with the zero-emission version of its new C4, which brings together 1,442 deliveries in 2022.
