Will anyone surprise and be on top in the next world championship? lewis hamilton has made his predictions leaving out the Aston Martin of Fernando Alonso.
The seven-time Formula 1 champion believes that the two teams that could be the revelation are McLaren and Alpine: “Why can’t McLaren be there? We’ll see. Or even Alpine have been doing amazing. We’ll see.”
In statements collected by the newspaper ‘Marca’, he was optimistic regarding Mercedes’ options: “I would like to think that we will be the ones who will compete with Red Bull and we can beat them againI think so for sure.”
“But really I hope Ferrari is strong in the next years. They’ve had a tough year, but there have been some strong signs, obviously, seen this year, which has been nice to see. It’s been nice to see Ferrari doing well again,” says the Briton.
Expect a fight, at least, of three pilots. Something that did not happen in 2022 with max verstappen being far superior: “I expect more than a two-way battle next year. I hope there will be at least three of us. And if not, surprisingly, maybe more.”
In his prediction, Hamilton believes that F1’s big three teams will once again be one step ahead. And he talks about two teams that could surprise: McLaren and Alpine.
The Briton forgets Aston Martin, without a doubt the team that is investing the most in current F1. Not only with the signing of Alonso, but also with the arrival of very important engineers and building your new factory.
