R.Efferent in its segment, with more than 20 years of experience and the current second generation that represented a before and after when completely renewed, the Strada expands its range in Argentina with the addition of the expected version with CVT automatic gearbox.
In this case, it will only be available with the Volcano trim level. From the Italian brand they emphasize that this transmission is characterized by being reliable, efficient and easy to maintain. They also highlight the approved performance of 14.9 km/l in mixed use according to the IRAM/AITA regulations.

The new:
It is the long-awaited version with an automatic gearbox of the successful small pick-up from the Italian brand. Presented in our country in 2020, the second generation of the Strada stood out for its great leap in design, habitability, technology and safety, with a style and features inspired by the Toro. However, considering the great demand that automatic transmissions are having, the pick up did not yet offer a variant of this type in Argentina.
Finally, Fiat decided to add this option, which for the moment is only available for the top-of-the-range Volcano version, which shares the same mechanical configuration already known in the Cronos Precision: the Firefly 1.3 engine associated with the CVT box with 7 simulated gears.
Comfort equipment:
The Volcano version has a Uconnect multimedia system with a 7” touch screen, compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Premium sound system, leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather/cloth upholstered seats, electric power steering, air conditioning, adjustable steering wheel in height, on-board computer, driver’s seat with height adjustment, central locking and automatic lock during taxiing, remote opening of the fuel tank, electric windows (4), electric mirrors, camera and parking sensors, on-board computer with 3.5” multifunction display, front fog lights, 15” diamond-coated alloy wheels with mixed-use tyres, luggage rack bars and hood with box cover.

Mechanics:
It maintains the well-known Firefly 1.3 GSE gasoline engine that develops 99 hp at 6,000 rpm and 13 kgm of torque at 4,000 rpm, in this case and like the Cronos Precision, associated with the CVT automatic transmission with 7 simulated gears. Also, like the entire range, it has the TC+ advanced traction system that transfers more torque to the wheel with the greatest grip.
